Ask your administrator if you think this is wrong. ====== 1885 ====== [[1884]]-[[1886]] William Osler first used the term "[[mycotic aneurysm]]" in [[1885]] to describe a mushroom-shaped aneurysm in a patient with subacute bacterial endocarditis ((Bohmfalk GL, Story JL, Wissinger JP, et al. Bacterial Intracranial Aneurysm. J Neurosurg. 1978; 48:369–382)). ---- Meralgia paresthetica was first described by Hager in [[1885]] ((Wilson SAK. Neurology, 2nd ed. Baltimore: Williams & Wilkins; 1955: 369.)). Bernhardt reported more extensively on the condition in [[1895]], and 2 weeks later Roth published a paper in which he coined the term [[meralgia]], from the Greek words meros for thigh and algos for pain ((Roth: Meralgia Pareathetica, Berlin, S.
